Well-known Chinese Olympic champions, led by volleyball player and coach Lang Ping and diver Gao Min, joined the bloggers of China's leading Internet portal Sohu (http://sports.sohu.com/guanjunbang/)on May 8 to recall their colorful sport lives and come closer to their fans through web interaction.

Lang Ping, a member of the Chinese team that won the 1984 Los Angeles Women's Volleyball Olympic gold medal, said on her site (http://langpingblog.blog.sohu.com/)that she feels love from her fans every time she writes blog stories and tries to share her thoughts with them.

Lang has recorded more than 1.7 million page views on her site as she put out 40 blog diaries and 5,633 comments since Sohu opened the blog on January 25, 2007.

Gao Min's site has received 1.1 million clicks since February 14 when she started blogging on Sohu. Gao's site (http://gaominblog.blog.sohu.com/) has attracted many sports lovers partly because of her video images.

A Sohu official said the Internet Content Services Sponsor for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is integrating its resources to prepare for more Olympic champions to join the growing blog team.
