Fantasies Behind the Pearly Curtain and Patrick Tse

Chiung's novel Fantasies Behind the Pearly Curtain was adapted into a film for the first time in 1975. It is another love triangle that changes each of the three people's fate and attitudes towards life.

The film starred Patrick Tse, who was very popular from 1960s-80s in Hong Kong. Patrick also appeared in many martial arts films and TV series, including the classic 1983 The Legend of the Condor Heroes. His son Nicholas Tse is also a pop singer who once enjoyed great popularity.
