Directed by Jia Ding and Wei Sijia and supported by the Beijing Culture and Arts Fund, the musical has been touring nationwide since June.

Lei Feng's legacy traces back to March 5, 1963, when Chairman Mao Zedong commemorated the young soldier in the People's Daily. This tribute led to the establishment of "Learn From Lei Feng Day", honoring him as a role model embodying virtues that continue to inspire generations.

Born on Dec 18, 1940, in Wangcheng, Hunan province, Lei Feng's remarkable journey from humble beginnings to becoming a revered figure within the People's Liberation Army ended tragically on Aug 15, 1962, due to a fatal accident, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate through artistic expressions.
