Spring cherry blossoms light up Chongqing outskirts

The cherry blossoms in Qianli Yingyuan, on the western outskirts of Zhongxian county in Chongqing, recently burst into vibrant colors and filled the air with a delightful fragrance, thanks to the rise of spring temperatures. This transformation has drawn numerous visitors eager to capture photos.
The massive garden is home to nearly 200,000 cherry blossom trees, including popular varieties like the Yoshino cherry and weeping cherry.
It is also part of a major county project to integrate local resources like wetlands, cultural heritage sites, scenic spots and parks along the Yangtze River, providing more places for visitors to enjoy.
