How Dare You!?, an original vertical screen micro-drama by China's leading online entertainment provider iQIYI, premiered June 28, following last year's animated adaptation of the same title. This launch underscores iQIYI's effective fusion of long- and short-form content formats, and kicks off a summer season of micro-drama lineup. The series set a new benchmark for micro-dramas, achieving a content popularity index of 5,667 and reaching a record high in bullet screen within the category.

How Dare You!? tells the story of an ordinary office worker who is unexpectedly transported through a mysterious book into a fantasy world where she becomes an emperor's concubine. In this new world, she discovers that the emperor is also a modern-day transmigrator, and together they embark on a comedic adventure to navigate and survive in their new reality.

Last year's animation adaptation received strong praise and set a new content popularity index record among iQIYI's original animations. It also topped iQIYI's animation charts in the US, South Korea, and Singapore within its first week of release.
