Global campers promote cultural exchange at mini world expo

"It's so amazing," said Australian camper Ashton Bedoya. "We're in Shanghai, halfway across the world from where we are, but then we've got 20 countries that are all here together... I feel like it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
The expo organizer highlighted the event's importance as a cornerstone of the camp, providing a valuable platform for young individuals to learn from each other and cultivate intercultural understanding.
Established in 2005, the camp is organized by the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Shanghai Youth Federation. In the coming days, the youth participants will continue their exploration of Chinese cities, savor traditional cuisine, and engage in a variety of cultural activities, enriching their exchange experience.
