Brilliance Auto Group, headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning province, announced that it sold more than 640,000 vehicles in the past 10 months, a year-on-year growth of 16.5 percent.

The sales of its Brilliance brand series increased 30 percent. The number of Brilliance brand distributors in the country also went up by 86 by the end of October.

According to Qi Yumin, chairman of the group, Brilliance Auto expected to achieve sales revenue of 125 billion yuan ($20.51 billion) this year, an annual increase of at least 20 billion yuan.

Brilliance Auto Group, founded in 2002, produces vehicles and parts. Jinbei and Brilliance are its best known brands.
