"I spent 15 years to get Legend Holdings listed. It is a milestone for the company and also the final work of my 30-year career", said Liu Chuanzhi, the company's founder and chairman, at the party to celebrate its listing in Hong Kong.

Other Chinese entrepreneurs who attended the event include Jack Ma, the founder and executive chairman of Alibaba Group, Lei Jun, Xiaomi founder and CEO, Yu Minhong, founder and chairman of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, and Wang Jianlin, founder and chairman of Dalian Wanda Group.

Praising Liu, Jack Ma said he is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in the world and the star of China's businesses.
