A video game show held in Taipei attracted more than 300,000 visitors during its five-day run.
Taipei Game Show (TGS) 2014, which concluded today at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall One, has grown into one of the major events of its kind in the region since its launch in 2002, according to the official website of Taipei Computer Association, the organizers of the show.
This year the event held its first-ever cosplay competition. The winner of best costume award was presented a Sony Xperia Z Ultra smartphone, while the contestant who came out as best in an online survey was given gift certificates worth NT$3,000 (about $100).
