By Shi Jing in Shanghai | China Daily | Updated: 2012-11-22 08:06

There is a great deal employers can do to help staff members manage their workloads efficiently, according to the latest Hudson Report: "Employment Trends" published in October.

The report reveals that 41.9 percent of employees in China say they cannot always finish their tasks during a standard eight-hour working day although close to a third feel more able to complete their tasks than at this time last year.

Among those who cannot finish their work within a standard working time frame, 68.1 percent said that their workload has been too heavy, 25.2 percent said they have not been given sufficient budget or resources and another 24.9 percent said they have always been assigned responsibilities beyond the normal scope of their job.
