Li's tips for wearing hats:

1. Match the hat to your haircut as well as your clothing style. For example, the bob cut which was popular in the 1920s looks perfect with an elegant Cloche hat. If you want to copy the 1940s style, then you could wear a flowery head scarf and a dotted Bubble skirt.

2. If you are dressed in a modern style, your choice should be made based on situations and colors. In formal situations, I would choose an elegant felt hat or a petite brimmed hat. And I will choose a hat that will draw attention at parties.

3. As to the color of the hat, I tend to choose a hat of similar color to go with what I am wearing, similar to what Queen Elizabeth II always does. You cannot make a mistake if you stick to this principle. If the hat and the clothes are too dramatically different in colors, you will also get a good visual effect. For example, a red hat is perfect to brighten up a dull winter.
