You might have noticed that McDonald's burgers are suddenly making headlines at your social network. Well, take a closer look, you will find the name of Ramón Freixa, Spain's two-star Michelin chef, printed on the box of two burgers, the Signature Sauce Bacon Burger (25 yuan) and the BBQ Pineapple Beef Burger (28 yuan).

Actually the celebrity chef did not create the recipe of the burgers but simply endorsed them. Nevertheless, it drew crowds of people to McDonald's to "have a taste of Michelin".

I tried the pineapple beef burger and it did not taste any distinctly superior or worse than the regular burgers. But obviously, some customers did not find it to their own expectations and descried the taste as "worse than chewing the tire" (don't forget that Michelin is also the leading tire company in the auto industry).

Well, between the taste of Michelin and the tire, there is certain room for the burgers to fall. It might not be one of the best bites of the week, but we think it might be interesting for you to find it out yourself.
