As many as 20 cities have been nominated as candidates for the 2013 China City List-China Ecological Cities. According to up-to-date voting results, Guiyang ranks first among all the 20 nominated cities. Guiyang is also the only nominated city in Guizhou.
The Internet voting of the 2013 China City List-China Ecological Cities is hosted by CRI and guided by the State Council Information Office, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the National Tourism Administration.
Other nominated cities include Xiamen, Yangzhou, Zhongshan, Weihan and Chengde. The final results will be announced on July 31, 2013. Ten cities will be named China Ecological Cities Recommended by Gobal Netizens.
