Picking farm at Dianshan Lake offers organic taste

Daddy's Farm is located in Dianshan Lake town and is a subsidiary of the Shanghai-based Palsun Agricultural Development Co.
Offering full traceability for all its food products, the farm intends to promote food safety in China, while providing delicious organic fruit and vegetables.
At present, melons, carrots and broccoli are ripe and ready to be harvested. Staff at the farm find the sweetest melons by checking the hairs around the pedicels of the plant and listening for a specific sound made by tapping the rinds.
Strawberry flowers are in bloom, attracting bees and butterflies to pollinate. Given adequate time, milk flavored strawberries will be available for picking.
