On August 13, the finalists of the third Chinese Charity Contest were published. A charity program of Yangquan, Shanxi province, made the list of Top 100 Chinese Charity Programs. The project, Manual Workshop of Love, was the only charity program to enter into the top 100 creative programs in Shanxi. At the national exhibition, which will be held this September in Shenzhen, the program will compete with other national and international charities and charitable funds for gold, silver and bronze prizes regarding creativity.

The Manual Workshop of Love gathers many skillful craftsmen of folk customs around the community. Housewives, the handicapped and the needy are the main participants of the community creative and folk customs workshop. By making various delicate handicrafts and establishing a regular charity bazaar to raise funds, it has developed a form of community micro-charity to provide service for families of empty-nesters and the handicapped.

The Chinese Charity Contest is the largest and highest standard charity program TV contest in China currently.
