The 2015 Shanxi Lunar New Year Goods Festival was divided into three sections, including a New Year goods exhibition, Jin opera and temple fair, as well as cultural activities.

There were seven exhibition areas in this festival, covering foods, characteristic agricultural products, clothing and household products, small appliances, festival goods, folk culture performances and intangible cultural heritages.

The second Shanxi Lunar New Year Goods Festival lasted 10 days in the Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center from Jan 30 to Feb 8.

The area for exhibition and trade in the festival covered 10,000 square meters and was home to more than 400 enterprises.

About 140,000 people came to visit the New Year goods festival, with a record of 18,000 people on a single day.

As the second Shanxi Lunar New Year Goods Festival concluded, it achieved sales volume of 30 million yuan ($4.8 million).
