China has been forced to introduce measures to tackle its pollution problems. They seem far advanced in the introduction of renewable and natural power resources. Many coal mines have been closed. Wind-farms, solar energy and hydro-electric power stations are replacing traditional dirty sources. Electric cars and bikes are replacing petrol and diesel driven ones. These are things that countries in the West seem reluctant to develop. "Necessity is the mother of invention". It is necessary for China to reduce pollution...they are therefore ahead of some countries in their efforts.
