Situated in Southeast China's Chongqing municipality, Wulong county features spectacular karst landscapes and many natural wonders.

The Wulong Karst is an important part of the South China Karst, which was inscribed in the World Natural Heritage List by UNESCO in 2007. The Wulong National Geology Park is home to the renowned Three Natural Bridges, Furong Cave and Houping Giant Doline.

Local tourism based on extensive natural scenery is becoming a significant part of the county's revenue. In recent years, Wulong has also become a popular film location site and hosted Zhang Yimao's film Curse of the Golden Flower, Hollywood sci-fi action film Transformers 4 and the recent Chinese reality show Dad, Where are We Going? 2.
