GAZA - Thirteen Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Monday in the Gaza Strip, putting the death toll to 86 since the airstrikes enters the sixth day.

The latest airstrike occurred at 7:00 am local time on Monday, in which an Israeli helicopter fired a missile at a car in the Central Gaza Strip town of Deir Al-Balah, killing three people.

Meanwhile, the Israeli airplanes F16 hit three houses in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, leaving four people dead, including one child and two young ladies.

Earlier, separate airstrikes killed three Islamic Jihad militants.

In the southern town of Rafah, which borders Egypt, a 52-year-old woman was pulled dead from beneath the rubble of her house.

A father and son were killed in another strike in northern Gaza.

On Sunday, Israel killed 11 civilians, including nine members of one family, in a single air strike on a house in Gaza City.

The raid was the deadliest since the beginning of the offensive Wednesday, when Israel killed the leader of Ezz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Hamas movement.

Hamas has also kept firing rockets into Israel, using Iranian-made projectiles of longer range which can reach the outskirts of Jerusalem and the central city of Tel Aviv.
