The document was signed by China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and Australia’s Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.

The agreement will accelerate the registration of Australian exporters of animal organs, donkey meat and edible donkey skins, and frozen-fresh and frozen beef and lamb.

The agreement was among a number of cooperative documents signed between the two countries, after Premier Li and his Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull attended the Fifth Annual Meeting between Chinese and Australian Prime Ministers in the Parliament House in Canberra.

Meanwhile, another agreement was also signed on Friday that salmons imported from Australia to China will be able to be sold back to Australia after being processed.
