The Beijing Institute of Technology removed its staff member surnamed Gong from his job on Sunday after Gong was reported by a student of forced homosexual relationship and possible corruption.

The whistleblower surnamed Chang, who is a postgraduate student at the institute's School of Mechanical Engineering, reported online on Saturday night that his supervisor surnamed Gong, the school's vice-dean, has leaked postgraduate test questions and was forcing him to have homosexual relations.

Chang said he also found Gong was academically dishonesty and was possibly involved in corruption. He said Gong's behavior has caused him emotional issues such as depression and anxiety.

According to the latest release by the institute on Sunday, Chang's complaints were confirmed to be true.

The institute decided to expel Gong from the Communist Party of China, removing him from his current job, revoking his title of professor and postgraduate supervisor and terminating employment contract with him. The institute will report to the Ministry of Education of revoking Gong's teacher qualification.

The institute said in the release that it does not tolerate teachers breaching professional ethics and morality, and will take quick and strict measures to handle problems of the kind. The institute will take Gong as a warning to keep the university's environment positive for the students.
